So first off I want to state that these are my opinions and mine alone and as everyone knows opinions are like ass holes every one has one but not every one wants to hear yours. So if you do not want to hear my opinion or you don't like me for what ever reason then hey here is a solution instead of reading on and bitching about it later on some indy board or talking crap about it to your pals how's about this STOP READING!!! Now for anyone who knows me likes me or is just plain interested in my opinion or bored and looking for something to read to pass the time then welcome.

I am MR.EVERYTHING Maxx Sledd I am a independent contractor here in the state of KY. Here is a little back ground on myself I was trained by Dirty Chris Hayes the owner of the MWA Mountain Wrestling Association back when the MWA was still running Georgetown, KY at the legendary Georgetown Convention Center.

In my many years now in the business I have done security, announced, managed, helped book, commentated and yes wrestled so I may know a thing or to about what I'm talking about but again that's just my opinion. I am the former MWA World Heavyweight Champion which is the greatest honor I have ever had in this business and I have held MWA Tag Team gold on two separate occasions now.

Now I was asked by the host of this page to write about my opinions on KY wrestling and just what ever I was thinking so to start off here are a few of my true feelings on a few things and or people...

CHADD 2 BADD ALLEGRA AKA KARL THE MACHINE GUN ANDERSON- THE NEXT BIG THING AND THE FUTURE OF OUR SPORT! THE ONE GUY I CAN SEE IN THE WWE IN GOOD TIME-HE'S GOT THE BODY, THE ABILITY, AND HE IS MARKETABLE. THE GUY CAN TALK, WORK, LADY'S LOVE HIM GUYS WANNA BE HIM. HE IS A ALL AROUND GREAT GUY AND HE HAS DONE GREAT FOR HIMSELF SINCE LEAVING THIS AREA HE HELD NWA TAG TITLES AND IS LIVING IN JAPAN WORKING FOR NEW JAPAN PRO WRESTLING. SOME WOULD SAY HE'S ALREADY MADE IT BUT I SAY HIS FUTURE IS EVEN BRIGHTER!

KASEY KAOS-I WATCHED HIM COME SO FAR AND IN SUCH A QUICK AMOUNT OF TIME I REMEMBER THE FIRST DAY WE PICKED THIS KID UP IN A PARKING LOT TO COME TRAIN. HE HATED ME AND I WOULD JUST NEVER STOP TALKING YOU COULDN'T HAVE TOLD ME THE KID WHO USED TO LOSE IT WHEN HE MESSED UP WOULD BECOME THIS GREAT PERFORMER. HE WORKED HARD, TRAINED HARDER, AND STUCK WITH IT. WE HAVE DONE SO MUCH TOGETHER AND AS A PART OF THE DONE DEAL WE BECAME FAMILY I TRULY LOVE HIM AND CONSIDER HIM A BROTHER.



BOBBY BLADE-HE'S A TRUE LEGEND AND AN ASSET TO THE MWA LOCKER ROOM, IV LEARNED SO MUCH FROM HIM. HE'S A TRUE PROFESIONAL AND EXCELS IN EVERYTHING HE'S ASKED TO DO-HE'S A GREAT WRESTLER, MANAGER, AND PERSON ALL AROUND. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT HIM AND HE KNOWS ALL OF THIS AS I HAVE TOLD HIM HOW GREAT HE IS. I THINK YOU SHOULD ALL SHOW HIM HIS PROPER RESPECT AND I THINK ONE DAY HE SHOULD NOT ONLY BE PLACED IN THE MWA HALL OF FAME BUT HE SHOULD GET A WING AND THE SEND OFF HE DESERVES. HE'S PROVEN TIME AND TIME AGAIN HE CAN DO IT ALL, STILL TODAY HE'S ONE OF THE BEST WORKERS YOU COULD HAVE ON A SHOW BECAUSE HE HAS NO EGO AND IS SELFLESS. HE HAS PUTS OVER EVERYONE AROUND AND LED EVERY MAJOR NAME TO EVER PASS THROUGH THE MWA. HE GIVES HIS ALL AND MAKES YOU AND YOUR SHOW BETTER FOR HAVING HIM THERE. HES A TRUE PRO AND THE DEFINITION OF A KY INDY LEGEND.

DIRTY CHRIS HAYES-A TRUE PRO AND MY FAVORITE PERSON AND WRESTLER IN THE MWA AND POSSIBLY THE WORLD. I OWE HIM EVERYTHING AND COULD NEVER PUT INTO WORDS WHAT THIS MAN HAS DONE FOR ME. I LOVE THE MAN AND WOULD DO ANYTHING HE ASKED ME WITHOUT HESITATION AS I WILL FOREVER BE IN HIS DEBT. HE'S THE GREATEST TALKER AND GREATEST HEEL EVER AND THE ONLY THING HE'S BETTER AT IS BEING A HUMAN BEING. HE'S ALWAYS THERE FOR US ALL AND IS UNLIKE ANY ONE IV EVER MET-CHRIS, THANK YOU!!! CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS HE IS WHAT AN TRAINER AND PROMOTER SHOULD BE. HE IS A FATHER FIGURE AND FRIEND.



PLAYBOY SCOTT HAYES-HE'S ONE OF THE BEST WORKERS INTHE ENTIRE STATE. HE'S TECHNICALLY SOUND HAS A GOOD ATTITUDE AND I ENJOY BEING IN HIS COMPANY. HE'S A JOY TO BE AROUND AND I LOVE WATCHING HIM IN THE RING BECAUSE HE'S SO GOOD. HE COULD DO ANYTHING HE WANTS IN THIS BUSINESS AND COULD WORK ANYONE AND MAKE THEM BETTER TRUST ME I KNOW. HE HAS NO EGO AND CAN BE A GREAT BABY OR HEEL HE IS ALWAYS COMING UP WITH NEW AND EXCITING MOVES AND IS A HIGHLIGHT REEL ANYWHERE HE IS BOOKED.

DICK DALTON-VERY VERY GOOD IN THE RING AND AS MUCH AS HE ENTERTAINS ME THERE I MAY ENJOY HIS COMPANY EVEN MORE. HE'S GREAT TO TALK TO-FUNNY, SMART, ALWAYS SPEAKS HIS MIND. HE WAS THE 1ST GUY I EVER REPRESENTED AND IT WAS MY PLEASURE BECAUSE WE HAD SO MUCH FUN, I WOULDN'T HAVE TRADED IT FOR ANYTHING. I LEARNED MORE FROM HIM THEN HE EVER COULD HAVE LEARNED FROM ME, ALL HE NEEDED ME 4 WAS A MOUTH PIECE BUT IT WORKED. I LIKE TO JOKE HE'S AL SNOW TRAPPED IN CHRISTAINS BODY, I LOVE IT. HE'S A HUGE ASSET TO WRESTLING AND WAS A BIG PART OF WHAT MADE DONE DEAL WORK HE WAS OUR BACK BONE AND I ONLY WISH HIS TEAM WITH KASEY WOULD HAVE LASTED LONGER. WE HAD A GREAT I REALLY DO LOVE DICK AND NO NOT IN THAT WAY.

CHUCKY SMOOTH- I LOVE HIM HE HAS LOTS AND LOTS OF POTENTIAL EVEN MORE THEN HE HAS ALREADY SHOWN. I REMEMBER GIVING HIM HIS FIRST MATCH AND HE LISTENED HE WAS HUMBLE AND HE SHOWED SO MUCH RESPECT. THE FUNNY THING IS HE HAS NEVER CHANGED HE IS STILL SO RESPECTFUL AND NICE AND HE IS ALWAYS SMILING AND READY TO WORK HARD. PEOPLE LOVE HIM AND THE BOYS DO TO I LOVE WORKING WITH HIM.HE HAS THAT HUNGER, PASSION, AND LOVE 4 THIS BUSINESS.

LARRY D THE LEGENDARY LARRY D-I COULD GO ON AND ON AND ON ABOUT THIS ONE HE WILL MAKE IT ENOUGH SAID AND I RESPECT HIM ENOUGH TO SAY HE IS THE ONE GUY I WILL ALWAYS CALL CHAMP BECAUSE HE HAS BECOME BIGGER THEN THE BELT. HE HAS UNMATCHED ABILITY AND UNMATCHED DRIVE, UNMATCHED EVERYTHING I AM AWE STRUCK BY JUST HOW GOOD THE GUY IS AND I'LL STOP THERE ON THAT. HE IS THE REAL DEAL.

So that is just a few things and if I left anyone out then I'm sorry I'll do more of these I just don't have all day to keep putting all you guys over but if I missed you rest assured you will probably get time in a future column. Oh but before I completely move on there is another thing I'd like to say...



DRUGS-THEY HAVE NO PLACE IN THIS BUSINESS AT ALL!!! AT ALL!!! GUYS ARE THROWING THERE LIFE'S AND CAREERS DOWN THE TOILET AND ALL OF THERE POTENTIAL IS THEN WAISTED. HAVEN'T ENOUGH LIFE'S BEEN HURT BY THE USE OF DRUGS? LOOK AT ALL THE PEOPLE WHO ARE GONE BECAUSE OF DRUGS-BULLDOG, PILLMAN, THEN THERE'S ALL THESE HEART ATTACKS AT YOUNG AGES LIKE HENNING AND RUDE. WHO REALLY WANTS TO BE ADDED TO THIS LIST? IS IT REALLY WORTH IT IN THE END? IF YOUR GOING TO BE SELFISH AND CARELESS THEN THINK ABOUT THE LOVED ONES YOUR LEAVING BEHIND-FRIENDS, FAMILY, FANS. USE YOUR DAM HEADS BEFORE THE NEXT CASUALTY IS FOUND ON OUR OWN ROSTER! THERE'S A LOT OF JOKES MADE AND A LOT OF THINGS WE IGNORE BUT IN THE END IT WONT BE FUNNY WHEN SOME ONE DIES. SOONER OR LATER IT'S GOING TO BE TO LATE TO ASK YOUR FRIENDS TO STOP WHAT THERE DOING. THERE'S A LOT OF THINGS IN LIFE WE TAKE FOR GRANTED BUT LIFE SHOULDN'T BE ON OF THEM. YOU DON'T NEED DRUGS DON'T SAY I'M BEING SAFE OR I HAVE IT UNDER CONTROL BECAUSE THAT'S B.S YOU MAKE YOURSELF BE LEAVE THAT CRAP! THE ONLY CURE AND THE ONLY CONTROL IS TO QUIT ALL TOGETHER. YOU CAN LAUGH AT THIS NOW BUT IN YOUR MIND YOU KNOW IT COULD BE YOUR LAST LAUGH SO LAUGH HARD BUT REMEMBER I'M BEGGING YOU, ANY ONE WHO'S OUT THERE ABUSING THEMSELVES... PLEASE STOP!!! DON'T ROB US OF THE GIFT OF HAVING YOU AROUND AND DON'T ROB YOURSELF OF LIFE. IF YOU SEE THIS ABUSE OR YOUR DOING IT WITH THE PEOPLE THEN YOUR JUST AS GUILTY AS THEY ARE BECAUSE YOUR WATCHING THEM THROW IT ALL AWAY. I THINK WE'LL ALL AGREE THERE'S TO MANY OF OUR BROTHERS GONE WAY TO SOON, LETS STOP THIS UNNECESSARY STUFF.

This week the main topic I have been asked about is my views on KY indy wrestling and mainly what companies are here to stay? who are the best? and where I see things going in five years. Pretty complex questions but good ones none the less. Let me just say that the big problem with the state of KY is they are willing to give anyone a wrestling license as long as they send them money. KY is over saturated with guys who have no clue, where never trained, and are goofs and these are the guys who are representing this state as workers and promoters.

You drive a car, you shoot a gun, you fly a plane, you drive a truck you can't just send in money and go pick up a license for these things so how come you can just be a wrestler? Is it all just about the money? Do they guys in charge of regulating this sport even treat it like a real sport or know what they’re doing? For any kind of real license you first get a permit then you prove you know what you’re doing in order to get certified and get your license but wrestling all you need is cash and a mail able envelope.

This is the reason all the fans go from the crowd to the dressing room in a matter of weeks. This is why Johnny back yard is a super star running his own company. This is why we have guys getting hurt and so called wrestlers in t shirts they bought at KY Kingdom and NIKES on. It's sad and it would be ok if they were just workers but no they'll also give you a promoter’s license if you want and now these guys are running shows for real. The truth is KY is full of a lot of good ole boy goofs with no clue who where fans and thought hey that's easy I can do that. News flash it's not easy to wrestle right it isn't easy to run a show right if it was anyone could do it and the sorry thing is I guess anyone can thanks to the state of KY. Never once have I seen them check to see if a promoter had a clue or a worker was properly trained no because they don't care they don't have a clue themselves about it there just elected officials who are doing their job but there's no one exactly sure what that job is. I mean I guess they are just there to collect money and watch the boys take a leak to make sure there not on drugs other than that what else do they really do if someone out there really knows please send it to me let me know. I'm in no way shooting on the guys who come I mean there always nice to me but other than pissing and fining I have no clue what they do.

KY needs to flush out all the shows and workers who just don't get it and start treating this like a sport and let us get our dignity back. As far as companies and my opinions I refuse to speak on any groups I have never worked for but company's I know are here to stay and are professional and the best in the state are MWA and NWF. They are professional well ran and know what's going on in wrestling they get it. I also enjoy my time in KCW they always treat me well there crowd loves it and they run pretty good shows.

Where do I see wrestling in 5 years well I hope as a whole every company and the sport itself will be better but only time will tell?
